I have been busy, busy lately!!
For us photogs, August through early November is by far the busiest time of year…Holiday Card shoots!! I always love the families that call in early July or August to schedule while they’re all nice and tan! Smart!! By this time of year my tan has almost always faded and I’m nice and pasty again for my cards!! lol!
I got to meet up with one of my most favorite families a few weeks ago for the annual Chistmas card shoot. Papa and gamma Helen as they have become known around our neighborhood are the adoptive grandma and pa of the block. The kids LOVE it when they come for a visit. I love that every year they like to send out a card with a picture of their clan on it. So cute!
This year we had a chance to spend a little extra time shooting and capture a few more moments…

After the kids got a little tired of shooting… (I seriously think all kids feel like doing this to me at one point or another during a shoot!)
We tried to steal away for a minute and get a few of just grandma and grandpa. We found some pretty light.

The kids started getting a little jealous of all the attention that grandma and grandpa were getting and wanted in on the action…
I can only hope I look this good when I’m a grandma!!
