Oh my gosh, I want to win this sooooo bad! I might be getting a new camera soon, and I’d LOVE to actually figure out how to use it!

Kimberly G - December 21, 2009 - 3:22 pm

Like everyone else I have a decent camera that I LOVE.. but it rarely comes off “auto”.. I’d really love to learn how to improve my pictures.. since I takes thousands of my little “mid-life crisis” baby!!!

the monkey's mama - December 20, 2009 - 10:57 pm

Oh my golly this would be THE best Christmas present ever! We’re expecting baby #2 in less than 8 weeks (yikes!) but Baby #1 broke our point and shoot 6 weeks ago. We’ve been using my iPhone as our record keeper since then.

However, my husband hinted that a DSLR would be under the tree for Christmas and I think it would be absolutely incredible to learn how to use it straight out of the shoot. Since all I know right now is how to operate a phone camera I will definitely be in desperate need of tutorials!

Not to mention it would be incredible to capture gorgeous shots of my daughter’s first moments of life with a few new skills learned in your class. Thanks for the opportunity!

Laura Davis - December 20, 2009 - 10:53 pm

Ah! I would LOVE to take your classes! I’m new to the digital SLR world and so lost… so, so lost!

Michelle P. - December 20, 2009 - 7:27 pm

I want to take a class to learn my new camera but with Christmas coming, It’s been on my wish list for awhile and with our vacation in the spring, it would be the BEST present for sure.

Grace - December 20, 2009 - 7:12 pm

Ohh I would love this class……if I could only take 1 picture with out cutting off my husbands head some how I and he would be sooooo happy!!!! Anything else is a BIG BIG plus :) …….Love all your pics!!!

Tina Powell - December 20, 2009 - 11:56 am

What an awesome present this would be to win this class. It would be a Christmas present of my very own that would keep on giving all year long. Since I purchased my Canon 40D last year October I have played with Manual mode a little but still dont know what I am doing and never can remember what numbers I was on when I was in that lighting the last time. So it takes me twice as long to get the “perfect” shot (if there is such a thing). The One MAJOR thing I need help with is shooting at night I cannot for the life of me figure that one out!! HELP…
Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to win.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win this class. I just got a Canon Rebel DSLR because we are going in vacation this spring and I wanted to capture the best picture of this dream vacation with our 4 kids but I have yet learned how to use it. This would be the BEST gift.

Catherine F. - December 18, 2009 - 11:45 pm

What a special gift it would be to learn from you. I have had a beautiful camera for one year now and have only taken “auto” pictures. I want to learn how to capture the beauty in my children, my family, my surroundings and my life. What an amazing give a way. Especially for someone like me who just can’t spend the money on myself. thank you for the opportunity.

Kara Doss - December 18, 2009 - 9:24 pm

I’ve had my Canon Rebel for a couple years now and still don’t know how to use the darn thing. I would love to take awesome pictures of my kids! Hope I win!

Tanya Hart - December 18, 2009 - 9:13 pm

Since I was a teenager I have wanted to study photography. Always an interest of mine, but when your Dad is paying for your college tuition and says, “You need a ‘real’ degree”, I had to put it aside. =o( I finally need to unleash my thirst for photography and capture the ever so priceless moments of my children! And who better to learn from than super creative Tammy whose brain I would love to pick at!

scrappysue - December 18, 2009 - 8:51 pm

I have picked up the odd trick or two along the way, but overall I haven’t a clue how to use the settings and I nearly always cop out and shoot on auto. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, I have ruined two events by having the camera on the wrong settings, and I would love for this to never happen again! Thanks for the chance Tammy, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Jodie - December 18, 2009 - 7:20 pm

I would love to learn to use our DSLR better because I want to capture every experience my kids have, not just for me, but for them so they can remember. It’s the only way to capture moments in time and keep them forever. Since I can’t afford to keep a photographer on hand permanently, it may as well be me!

kwistin - December 18, 2009 - 6:18 pm

Goodness, this is fantastic! Brilliant idea. I started to do freelance photography last summer and for my Christmas break, I’m planning on finishing editing on my clients’ photos. =D For some reason, the photo-know-how doesn’t always stick with me, and I’m pretty sure editing would be a lot easier if I just got the exposure/iso/shutter right in-camera. Pretty sure I could learn that and more from your course. :)

freddie - December 18, 2009 - 6:01 pm

It would be nice to say I know the capabilities of myself and my camera. Wishing + fingers crossed!

cindy barriga - December 18, 2009 - 6:00 pm

This would be the stepping off point for me to start trusting in myself. I can take a photo without the auto mode being on. Thanks for the chance!

rita - December 18, 2009 - 5:59 pm

I am way to comfortable in the auto mode. I need to start being scared with my photo taking moments.

Lindsie Hazen - December 18, 2009 - 4:52 pm

A step in the direction of becoming Tammy Talent. An opportunity to get inside your head to the creative factory of camera knowledge? Awesome. So fun to learn to use the super camera that takes super pics even with a not-so-super camera captain at the helm. Thanks for your never-ending generosity to offer.

Amy Wattles - December 18, 2009 - 4:40 pm

Seriously Tammy, the reason I need this class is plain and simple….so I can lean to to take GREAT photos like you do!! I am in love with your work!! Keeping my fingers crossed!! :)

Sonia Pitts - December 18, 2009 - 2:04 pm

Oh my gosh! i would sooooooo LOVE to win this class!!!! My Sister in law won at IU and I am so stoked for her! Her hubby (my brother) got her a new camera so she is now prepared!!!
I have had my rebel xti for years now and only since IU have I taken it out of auto mode. I feel like i only know an inkling of what there is to know and would be sooooooooooooooo grateful for the knowledge offered in this class! Thanks so much for the opportunity!!!

Dana J - December 18, 2009 - 1:03 pm

How wonderful! I would love to know more about how to use my camera to the fullest potential. We have a fundraiser for childhood cancer coming up in the spring (May) that I would love to take photographs to document the day! As parents of children with cancer, documenting everything is so important!

Allison Nelson - December 18, 2009 - 10:58 am

Ahoy, Tammy! This is so generous of you! We purchased a DSLR last Christmas, and I was supposed to learn how to use it while pregnant, but I was too sick for that. Sigh. And, now I have a wiggly infant whose hair grows longer by the minute…and I have to capture that, right?

Lisa - December 18, 2009 - 10:43 am

I need help (bad) with the new Nikon DSLR I just got…I would love to get adorable pictures of my kids, just like you do of yours.

{vicki} - December 18, 2009 - 10:30 am

I NEED this class because I just got a digital dsl in August and I desperately need to know how to use it.

Jennifer - December 18, 2009 - 10:24 am

I would LOVE to take this class so that photos taken on my Canon Rebel DSLR would turn out better than the photos taken by my 12 year old on her Kodak EasyShare POS.
