We are eagerly anticipating the release of the new batman movie this summer!! I think we’re not the only ones…I’ve heard that tickets in New York have been sold out since January for the day of the release…and it doesn’t even come out until the end of JULY!!! I’m certain that once the frenzy hits this summer there will be plenty of little boys begging for batman themed birthday parties! So, I decided to beat them to the punch and style one up for all of you who are soon to be searching for ideas to give your kiddos the Batman party. I picked the Batman buckets up at Target in the dollar section…RUN don’t walk…there weren’t many left!
This yellow and black color scheme is AWESOME!!! Love the way it pops!
Color blocking candy can get EXPENSIVE! Right now is a great time to grab inexpensive jellybeans that you can separate by color and use for your party needs. Now you’ll finally have a use for all those black licorice jelly beans that no one actually eats!
I think these may very well be my most favorite invitations that I’ve ever created!
Take the stress out of the party by allowing yor local grocery store bakery to cook up some cupcakes for you! These chocolate with yellow frosting are perfect for the occassion. I added the black and white cupcake wrappers and fun toppers to jazz them up a bit.
WHen you are planning your party, look through the grocery store for anything that fits your party’s color scheme. It doesn’t necessarily have to be theme related. Then, create fun names for your food that have to do with your theme…for instance Pineapple Juice becomes Joker Juice, Yellow Zingers become Zappin Zingers, and Bananas become Poison Ivy Produce.
To get more bang for your buck, use favor items to decorate your table…like these the bubbles, buckets and batman containers you see in the above shots. WHen it comes time for the end of the party, give each of your guests their bucket and let them fill it with the items from the table. Then in your pictures the table looks extra fun and more decorated, but you are getting two uses out of the items!
