{Picture Perfect} Summer Session Starts Monday!!! Three Spots Left!!

If you are the proud owner of a Digital SLR camera (you know, one of those fancy cameras that you bought at costco or somewhere that allows you to change lenses) that you use as a really expensive point and shoot than this class is for you!!

If your camera has never left the safety of auto mode, than this class is for you!

I know there are thousands of you out there!! You bought those cameras because you wanted better pictures…well, the magic isn’t really in the camera…YOU make the magic happen!!!

Join me starting June 28th for this jam packed, super fun, flexible (for all you busy moms!) and informative six week online course full of VIDEO tutorials (that’s right, you get to watch me just like you were in a classroom!!), fabulous handouts, a message board and gallery for getting to know your classmates and post your assignments, teacher Q&A, creative and technical assignments…all to help you grasp the exciting world of manual photography!!

This course will include topics such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, composition, metering, lighting and much more.

For those of you headed out on vacations and such and worried about timing, I want you to know that these are VERY flexible classes. You can watch them at any time during the six week period (I usually leave access to the videos up for a few extra weeks for you too, so you can catch up) you can watch them as many times as you like, AND there is a pdf each week of the lecture with all the info and picture examples so you can print it out to keep and reference forever. Just for those of you concerned about missing a week!

It has been WAY too long. I have put shoots on the back burner over the last few months with a series of major events that have been affecting our family taking center stage. Now things have settled down and I am back in full swing…well, sort of. (Stay tuned for a bit of an announcement coming early next week)

I kicked off summer this week with one of my favorite families. You know it’s going to be a GREAT shoot when you bring along this little guy…

I can’t wait to share more of these cuties!!

{Picture Perfect} Summer Session Now Enrolling

I can’t believe that summer is HERE! I kept thinking “I need to get prepared for summer, I need to get prepared for summer…” and now, once again it has sneaked up on me and I am totally unprepared! I don’t know how that happens every year!

I have had MANY requests for a summer session of {Picture Perfect} while the kids are out of school and schedules are more flexible. So…sign ups are now open for the summer session which begins June 28th. You can register HERE. Spots for this session have already started filling without me even officially announcing it yet…so they will go fast!

everyday life: where does the time go????

ok, ok….i know i’ve been a terrible blogger and I’m starting to hear about it from you guys so I guess i better get on it!!

i came home from new york to be thrown into the last week of school chaos. parties, awards assemblies, teacher gifts to plan for etc. last week was the busiest week i’ve had in quite some time! i was grateful for yesterday when things slowed down a little!

due to all the craziness I am WAY behind on editing my pictures. i can’t believe that I haven’t even posted Ash’s birthday yet…and that was in MARCH!! YIKES!!! the two thousand pics from NYC are breathing down my neck. here are a few just to old you over….

Yankee Stadium…more on this once in a lifetime game to come…

WTC site…so many memories came flooding back from that day…so emotional

our stay at the one and only Plaza Hotel….AMAZING!!!
